It seems Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark tip-toe stance is rubbing off on his Real Madrid team-mates after Danilo joined the winger in striking the pose before their frustrating draw with newly-promoted Sporting Gijon on Sunday.

As revealed by Sportsmail last year, the former Manchester United star has adopted the stance when the squad line up for a pre-game photograph in a bid to make himself look taller.

And before their La Liga opener, where Rafa Benitez's reign as as Madrid manager got off to a disappointing start, Ronaldo and Danilo made sure they were taller then their team-mates by striking the pose.
