Federer untroubled in Cincinnati

Roger Federer eased past Roberto Bautista Agut at the Western and Southern in his first match of the North American hard-court swing.
The Swiss second seed broke serve once in each set to claim a 6-4 6-4 second-round win over Bautista Agut in Cincinnati on Tuesday.
Such was six-time champion Federer's dominance at the ATP 1000 event, he lost just nine points when serving on his way to victory in 69 minutes.
The seeds in the second round enjoyed a good day on the hard courts.
Czech Tomas Berdych cruised past Thomaz Bellucci 6-2 6-3, while Marin Cilic was a 6-4 6-2 victor against Joao Sousa and Grigor Dimitrov edged Vasek Pospisil 7-6 (7-4) 7-6 (7-5).
Also in the second round, qualifier Alexandr Dolgopolov comfortably beat Australian Bernard Tomic 6-4 6-1 and Croatian Ivo Karlovic advanced after a 6-3 7-6 (7-2) win over Martin Klizan.
Tomic's controversial countryman Nick Kyrgios avoided a meeting with close friend Thanasi Kokkinakis after being thrashed 6-2 6-1 by French 12th seed Richard Gasquet in the first round.
Kokkinakis was included in Kyrgios' stunning sledge aimed at Stan Wawrinka during the Rogers Cup.
Big-serving seeds Milos Raonic and John Isner were both beaten.
Canadian Raonic sent down 15 aces but suffered a 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 loss to Feliciano Lopez, while Sam Querrey overcame American countryman Isner 6-3 7-6 (7-3).
South African 15th seed Kevin Anderson avoided a similar fate, getting past Leonardo Mayer 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 6-1.
Fernando Verdasco enjoyed a 4-6 6-3 6-4 win over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, while Borna Coric won the battle between two talented 18-year-olds, edging Alexander Zverev 7-5 3-6 7-6 (7-5).
Tommy Robredo beat Pablo Andujar 3-6 6-3 6-1, Jeremy Chardy was untroubled by Rajeev Ram in a 6-4 6-2 win and Jared Donaldson completed a 7-5 6-7 (2-7) 6-2 victory over Nicolas Mahut.
