The Real Madrid squad boarded a flight to Sweden on Tuesday morning ahead of their Champions League clash with Malmo on Wednesday night.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were among the travelling party but Rafa Benitez's squad is depleted by injuries to several key first team figures.
The Spanish coach has to make do without Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Sergio Ramos, Pepe and Danilo as Real Madrid look to return to winning ways following a disappointing goalless draw at home to Malaga in La Liga.

Those that have made the trip north to Scandinavia looked in good spirits as they were pictured en-route to catch their flight before the club tweeted several snaps from on board the plane.

The squad set off from Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport on Tuesday morning and landed in Sweden early in the afternoon, where they checked into the Hotel Radisson Blu.
The players will train at the Swedbank Stadium on Tuesday evening as they put their finishing touches to preparations.
