Hugo Lloris has a chance to be fit for Tottenham's season-opener against Manchester United on Saturday after resuming contact training.
The France international was viewed as a serious doubt for the weekend after returning to pre-season training with a fractured wrist.
The injury has prevented the goalkeeper from taking part in full contact training since returning from his summer break, though he has been able to maintain his fitness.
